Samuel Totten is a novelist. He is the author of two earlier novels: Laguna Beach: The Kaleidoscopic 1960s, and All Eyes on the Sky, about life and war in the Nuba Mountains of Sudan. Over the years he has resided in Australia, Israel, and Rwanda. Additionally, he has worked in Chad, Sudan, Rwanda, Uganda and Ukraine.
